Subject: Rép. : Meeting request + advice

Dear Mr Morrison,

Thank you for your note requesting a meeting with the Board, on which I was copied. The current labour situation is an issue between CBC Management and the CMG, which is most appropriately dealt with in the context of collective bargaining at the bargaining table. Both parties should focus all their efforts on the negotiations in order to reach a settlemnt.

I can assure you that the Board is fully aware of all issues and is briefed on a regular basis, and that our bargaining committee has a full mandate to negotiate with the Guild.

Regards,

Robert Rabinovitch
President & CEO, and acting Chair
