We believe that your union is in fact Local 30213 of the Communications Workers of America. As we told the Senate Committee earlier this month, we find it somewhat ironic that our national public broadcaster’s largest union is, in fact, a local of an American union.
It troubles us to learn that you export 7% of your members’ dues to the United States. Our advice to your members is that they should disaffiliate from the CWA and repatriate their dues to Canada.
