A Special Gift for New Monthly Donors
FRIENDS
has commissioned a unique and very attractive copper-green maple leaf
lapel pin framed in pewter and crafted from copper that graced the roof
of Canada's Parliament buildings in Ottawa from 1918 to 1996. This
copper cladding was installed immediately after the Great Fire in 1916
that destroyed the Centre Block. This beautiful pin has been produced
by and for the benefit of developmentally disabled people in Canada's
National Capital Region.
If you become a FRIENDS monthly donor we will send you one of these beautiful and extremely rare lapel pins as a token of our appreciation. Don't miss your opportunity to own a unique piece of Canadian history!
