To raise public awareness of broadcasting issues and increase support for its work, FRIENDS of Canadian Broadcasting has undertaken a number of public advertising campaigns in various media.

Sept 2, 2008 - Vote for Canadian Culture

August 30, 2008 - Protest changes to CBC Radio Two
FRIENDS advertisement placed in the Globe & Mail urging citizens to register their displeasure with changes to CBC Radio Two

Advertisement sponsored by ACTRA, FRIENDS, CIRPA, SOCAN in Ottawa's Hill Times concerning results of opinion poll showing 64% of Canadians want the Government of Canada to intervene in CRTC satellite radio decisions because the proposed services offer too little Canadian content.
