Corner Gas star to address Vancouver Quadra candidates meeting

Vancouver – Gabrielle Miller, star of the hit comedy 'Corner Gas', will be attending and speaking at the Vancouver Quadra candidates meeting on Canadian culture and broadcasting.

The event will take place on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Cecil Green Park House, 6251 Cecil Green Park Drive, on the UBC campus.

Gabrielle Miller currently has lead roles on two of Canada's hottest shows: 'Corner Gas' and 'Robson Arms', as well as the upcoming CTV Movie of the Week 'Elijah' directed by Paul Unwin ('Casualty').

ACTRA, the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada and Friends of Canadian Broadcasting are co-sponsoring the event.
