Cable monopoly by Ian Morrison (Letter to the Editor)

Source : National Post

Nov 27, 2000

Could the Richard Stursberg who now decries CRTC dithering as the cause of a two-year lag in the introduction to Canada of Direct-to-home satellites (A Victim of Convergence, Oct. 30) be the same individual as the Richard Stursberg who, as President of the Canadian Cable Television Association, successfully lobbied the CRTC on behalf of the cable monopolies to delay the introduction of Canadian Direct-to-home satellites in 1995?
