CBC veers right?

More musings about my old friend Don Hill, dismissed recently by the CBC as host of Wild Rose Forum, an Alberta phone-in show. Last week, I noted that, while supporters were protesting his dismissal, Hill himself had declined comment. With good reason: If he breaks silence, his severance package evaporates.
Fans of Hill insist that he is a political casualty of right-tilting CBC executives. While he was exposing the link between bankrupt Enron's manipulation of the electricity market and TransAlta, a utility with close connections to Ralph Klein's government, the CBC was inviting various Tory apologists on the air, including Rod Love, the premier's former chief of staff, and leadership hopeful Jim Dinning, former executive vice-president of TransAlta.
Transcripts released by the U.S. Energy Regulatory Commission suggest that Enron used Alberta as a pilot project for rigging California's power market. I venture we have not heard the last of this.
